About The Hat

Sometimes I wear a hat. It happens probably once a year though the attempts are countless. I have a proper love/hate relationship with this item. Thing is I love how it looks on other people, I also like how it looks on me until I actually need to leave the house. Then, no matter how ready I was, I take it off and immediately think that the whole outfit works better without the hat. Or there is another scenario. I actually go outside and surprise, surprise it's heavy winds and I end up caring the hat in my hands for the rest of the day. So, once a year when I do manage to make it work I feel super proud and give myself a promise to be more of a hat person. And then you know how it goes...

So this is one of those times when I like what the hat does to an entire look. Everything complements each other by being different shades of neutral colours. And the only drastic pop is a clutch. So there you go. Me in a hat. So until next time then. xx

It's About Time

It's the middle of the week, the sun is shining, summer isn't going anywhere (please don't) and I wish my days were a bit less busy. But that's just how it is when fashion weeks are just a couple of days away and there is about a thousand of things that need to be done and finalised before. So, it's about time I start (and stop) doing several things: a) pretending that I'm still on holiday - stop! b) thinking about the new season and with it a return to the normal daily routine - start! c) moisturising, haha - continue, continue, continue! 

So, as you can pretty much sense, I am enjoying these days as much as possible because London is just amazing! 

As I was running in and out all day today, nothing was more comfortable than baggy, casual clothes made from very light fabrics that kept me cool during the heat. Adding a couple of fun details, like a neon bracelet and a watch, as well as (very unusually for me) an animal print bag set a cheerful mood to the whole outfit.

On the Top

This is the last outfit post from Cyprus (sad face). Why should holidays ever end? You know the feeling when you know you are leaving soon and you are so envious of everyone who has just arrived and is yet to explore this wonderful place? That's pretty much how I felt for the last two days in Protaras. Thankfully, I have lots and lots of pictures to remind me of this wonderful time (as well as this little orange flower in my hair that I picked up in the local shop while on the holiday.)

This Boden dress was perfect to explore a bit of the surroundings of the island. It's bright flower print together with my coral sandals and mirrored sunnies made me feel slightly Hawaiian and very holiday-spirited.

I found myself on the edge of this cliff right before the sunset. This was a perfect place to say goodbye to the island and make a wish to come back soon.
