Flowers in My Bag

Oh London! You are so warm and sunny these days. You leave no reason for anyone to complain about the weather. Fingers crossed it's going to stay this way.

Being in the mood for all things spring and colour I couldn't resist bringing some beautiful props into this shoot. I love spring's first flowers and always make sure to decorate my home with fresh bouquets. It makes so much difference to be surrounded by these pretty reminders.

So here is my take on yet another casual chic outfit that is perfect for a cosy weekend stroll and visits to the flower market. Every time I find a new way to style boyfriend jeans it amazes me of the versatility of this garment. If I go back and put together a collage of all the times I wore them it would be a quite impressive 'Wear it 100 different ways' kind of guide.

This is looking to be a very busy week for me, so stay tuned for my updates from all the events I am going to attend. I am going to try and show them to you here as well as on the Instagram (@juliashutenko).

Have a great week everyone xx

Getting Serious

workwear outfit

This is my idea of a perfect workwear outfit for things like job interviews and work lunches when you are out and about discussing serious things with serious people. Those kind of situations happen to absolutely all of us and it's important to know the dress code. And I'd advise you to not be boring!

Take a look at my outfit, for example. What can be more ordinary than a black and grey combo? That's where accessories come in! Don't be afraid to add statement and colour with your bag or jewellery. Make a very simple and classic outfit more fun like I did by carrying this bright orange clutch. And one more thing, try and wear something that can be worn both day and night. The dress I'm wearing here is pure fabulous on its own so I would have no problem going from a serious meeting to a cocktail bar.

What's your idea of a serious outfit? x

Checkered Shirt

ombre hair, checkered shirt, plaid shirt, red clothes

Checkered and plaid shirts have regained its fashionable power over the last couple of seasons and going by the most recent fashion weeks it looks like it will keep its crown for a while. It's just so easy to style it and create a laid back, grungy look that I can see why designers keep bringing plaid back. I've had this shirt for more than a year now and it's my go-to item when I'm in the mood for an edgy yet comfy outfit. And it works all year round, through all seasons.

What's your go-to fashion item at the moment?

Beach in the City

oversized scarf, suede coat, long gloves

Do you know those days when you can clearly feel that spring is not far away? When you notice that your nose and hands aren't freezing anymore and you are excited to go for a walk? That's how I felt on the day I discovered this little beach just ten minutes walk from my house. It suddenly felt like I am not in London anymore and I made a promise to come here more often.

The moment I stepped outside I realised that I might have dressed too warmly, though it did come in handy later while sitting on the beach. I've had this oversized scarf for years and it always makes me feel cosy and gives a very nice final touch to almost any outfit. And I also finally gave a go to the longer sleeved gloves which are quite an unfamiliar territory for me. All in all, this was just the outfit I needed to enjoy this sunny beautiful day.

Hope you guys are feeling the first hints of spring too xx

I Woke Up Like This

Hi guys! Happy Monday! Hope you are having a nice sunny day and taking it easy on the first day of the week!

Here's a quick and colourful post shot during this weekend in London. I wanted to find a fun location and knew without any doubt that the cool and hipster Shoreditch and Bricklane areas would not disappoint. While walking around, I was inspired by everything from people with an immaculate sense of style and layering skills, to the colourful art on the walls. Add in the nice sunny weather and what could be better?

While in Bricklane I always want to look a bit more grunge, a bit more cool and so boyfriend jeans, biker boots and some layering on top were an easy choice for the day. I love those outfits that make you feel comfortable, that don't require well styled hair and anything in between the lines of Beyonce's 'I woke up like this' work the best.

Also, I am excited to announce that I teamed up with Cosmopolitan Russia during London Fashion Week to report on the street style! Check out the gallery of the images I shot for them here and don't forget to sometimes stop by my PRESS page for the latest updates. xo
