Parking It

Hi everyone! I hope you've been better than I was these past few days. I've been feeling unwell since the last weekend but am on the speedy road to recovery now. I'm pretty sure that all the stress I've been through and some other factors caused my extreme weakness, so I've adopted a very healthy eating and exercising regime for this condition to never repeat again. There is lots of pomegranate and beetroot juice in my life these days to say the least.

So on a happier note, here is a post we shot one weekend ago before the endless rain came to London. This is a very low key outfit that I put together for a picnic in the park. Light, soft fabrics, oversized cuts and no make-up are the ingredients of a comfy afternoon. Add to that lots of tasty food, some refreshing drinks and the latest magazines and what more can you want from a chilled Sunday?

As I'm getting better now I'll start shooting lots again. There are so many things I want to show you. And after this upcoming Saturday you will also see the NEW me. So keep an eye on my Instagram (@juliashutenko).

Have a great Wednesday ya'll! xo

Getting Serious

workwear outfit

This is my idea of a perfect workwear outfit for things like job interviews and work lunches when you are out and about discussing serious things with serious people. Those kind of situations happen to absolutely all of us and it's important to know the dress code. And I'd advise you to not be boring!

Take a look at my outfit, for example. What can be more ordinary than a black and grey combo? That's where accessories come in! Don't be afraid to add statement and colour with your bag or jewellery. Make a very simple and classic outfit more fun like I did by carrying this bright orange clutch. And one more thing, try and wear something that can be worn both day and night. The dress I'm wearing here is pure fabulous on its own so I would have no problem going from a serious meeting to a cocktail bar.

What's your idea of a serious outfit? x

Dungarees

denim river island dungarees

I love, love, love being able to dress lighter already! And it's only the beginning of March! London has been spoiling us with some pretty high temperatures lately and I am obsessively checking my iPhone weather app to make sure it's not going to change. So far so good.

I have already started a process of switching my winter wardrobe with the spring/summer one and guess what was one thing I forgot I have? My favorite denim dungarees! I got them last year and didn't have enough time to get used to their presence before it got cold and I couldn't walk with my bare ankles any longer. So this season I have plenty of different ideas on how to style them and this look is just the beginning.

For this outfit I felt like mixing bright prints (it can be tricky sometimes, so my advice is to be bold and brave). And this oversized scarf just added some more coolness to the entire look.

By the way, have you seen my interview where I share my fashion tips and talk about new Look Again collection? You can watch it HERE.

PS.  My Mom is coming to London today! I am a happy girl xx
