London Fashion Week, February 18th

And so London Fashion Week is over and all the action has moved to Milan. Nevertheless the last day is always intense, busy and crowded, shows are still happening, street style is still being photographed. It's almost impossible to imagine that only the next morning Somerset House will transform itself into its usual self, the BFC tent will be gone and not a single photographer will be hunting anyone down anymore.

As for my last outfit, I chose to wear this punky cool CeMe London dress paired with a faux fur vest and comfy biker boots. I'm probably going to repeat myself but I love dresses that can be worn many different ways and transform depending on the accessories. For example, change biker boots to heels and this dress will bring you from day to evening. Wear it with a tailored blazer and it's perfect for a day in the office.

We got so lucky with the weather yesterday that for once I was actually super warm outside and it felt like the sun is becoming more and more powerful. I got a chance to catch up with my emails and social media right then and there. By the way how cool is this Helmer iPad sleeve? They have such a great selection of accessories of every colour to match any outfit!

So, bye bye London Fashion Week! This time it hasn't been too easy (being ill all the way through) but it's still been so much fun! Hope you guys have enjoyed my LFW diary xx

Quote

Sometimes, no matter how much you want to try and make the weather conditions work for the shoot, you just need to have a Plan B up your sleeve. Currently, London is being blown away by some serious winds and whereas, it's still possible to quickly run from place to place, shooting requires more preparation and endurance. And then an obvious thought that somehow never visited me in all the months since I've started blogging came. Why not do it indoors? Especially once I found out that the building I live in has a lot to offer!

I have put together this dress and coat combo knowing how well black and blue will complement each other. I love how the dress resembles an oversized football t-shirt which is perfect for the days when you don't feel like wearing jeans yet still not wanting to look too girly or dressed up. The famous Oliver Twist quote immediately pops it out of the crowd while an electric blue makes me happy each time I see it.

Have a great week everyone! x

Under My Umbrella

It's not exactly easy to shoot a blog right now, giving that everyday is super rainy and super windy in London. And I am not one of those people who isn't affected by the weather. I prefer to observe the wet and unwelcoming autumn situation from the comfort of my flat, with a huge cup of tea in my hands and a good read. But, once in a while, rain can become a reason to do something different and fun. And all thanks to the must have autumn accessory - an umbrella! I have been waiting to bring out this eye catching prop for a while now and had no idea how much of a mood booster something like this can be.

Aware that the umbrella will be a definite pop of colour in this shoot, I have chosen to wear this Finders Keepers black and white dress to keep a nice balance between the two. As I have previously mentioned (here and here) I love the cut and the design of the brands' dresses. This particular one is perfect for the autumn with its colour, print and slightly thicker material.

What makes you feel cosy during rainy days? Let me know
xx

The One

Happy Monday everyone! A quick post to show you this beautiful Emma Louise London wrap dress and its unique ballet dancers print. If you take a closer look at the girls dancing you'll notice that a couple of them are different in their colour and pose. This is what I find so inspirational about the dress. It encourages you to be different, to not follow the crowd and invent your own rules. It is easy to merge with others but it takes courage and talent to stand out.

I have paired the dress with the Nine West printed flats. They are my most colourful shoes so far and every time I look down at my feet my mood gets an instant boost.

Let me know what you think about the outfit and the dress and have a great week! xx
