Cherry Blossom

Cherry blossoms! Is there anything more beautiful? Every spring I wait for these couple of weeks when the trees are blooming and can't believe that such beauty can exist. I have a couple of trees just by my house and every time I walk past them I want to take a picture as every day the blossoms get bigger and more colourful than the day before. And the fact that they are only blooming for two weeks in a year makes their presence so much more special.

As for this outfit, I wanted to get a new black biker jacket for a while and as you can see I went completely off board and purchased a white one. I blame it on the spring and its warm weather. A white  jacket is much trickier to style than black one, so I went for a classic monochrome look as I didn't want any other colours to distract from the beauty of the cherry blossoms. I am also wearing a new Coco & Cleo necklace and it's the coolest design I've seen in a long time. Check out their collection here.

Have a great day everyone xx

White and Denim

missguided ear cuff and gap white shirt

Hey guys! Just a quick outfit post from the sunniest London. Hope everyone is having an amazing Sunday! I had the best time with Mom and we were so lucky with this weather. It's been so warm that I kept wondering whether I'm still in London or on some exotic vacation (check my Instagram for the proof @juliashutenko). Fingers crossed this weather is here to stay.

This outfit is my version of a casual smart look that would have been completely classic if it wasn't for the boyfriend jeans and the oversized cut of the shirt. Ear cuff brought a bit of an edgy feeling to the whole thing which I am such a fan of. These red heels that I brought back from New York a couple of seasons ago keep doing their job and making me feel chic no matter what I am wearing them with. All in all, this is a great outfit for both work days and weekends.

Let me know how was your weekend, what you've seen and where you've been xx

Dungarees

denim river island dungarees

I love, love, love being able to dress lighter already! And it's only the beginning of March! London has been spoiling us with some pretty high temperatures lately and I am obsessively checking my iPhone weather app to make sure it's not going to change. So far so good.

I have already started a process of switching my winter wardrobe with the spring/summer one and guess what was one thing I forgot I have? My favorite denim dungarees! I got them last year and didn't have enough time to get used to their presence before it got cold and I couldn't walk with my bare ankles any longer. So this season I have plenty of different ideas on how to style them and this look is just the beginning.

For this outfit I felt like mixing bright prints (it can be tricky sometimes, so my advice is to be bold and brave). And this oversized scarf just added some more coolness to the entire look.

By the way, have you seen my interview where I share my fashion tips and talk about new Look Again collection? You can watch it HERE.

PS.  My Mom is coming to London today! I am a happy girl xx

Before You See Beyonce

Happy Monday from the sunniest and warmest London. All I want to do these days is be outside until the sun goes down and eat ice-cream. Everyone on the streets seems to be united by the joy of the spring feeling in the air and it just makes me smile.

If you follow me on Instagram (@juliashutenko) you've seen that last week one of my dreams came true and I went to see Beyonce's concert in London's O2 arena. I still can't believe this has happened! I feel like I never want to go a see any other performances because I don't think anyone or anything can outdo Queen B. She, her voice and the show were perfect! And I wish I could continue following her tour and experience her power every evening.

I chose this outfit for the concert for some very particular reasons:
- An oversized (and very warm) jumper allowed me not to wear any coat, therefore not having any hassle with it while at the concert
- I wore heels thinking that being taller might be handy if someone decides to block my view (thankfully, there was none of that).

Let me know if you've seen Beyonce live too guys, I'd love to hear about your experiences.

xo

Warehouse Store Launch

Yesterday marked the launch of the first Warehouse concept store on London's Oxford street. Filled with the trendiest fashion crowd, yummiest snacks and fabulous cocktails, the event was an absolute success!

Along with the celebration of the launch we were able to preview the Warehouse’s Spring/Summer 2014 “Fashion Shooters" Campaign by Helena Christensen. It focuses on the popular use of the cameras in a daily life, the recognised importance of documenting your style and seeking inspiration from street fashionistas.
With music by Amber Le Bon and Laura Whitmore and fun activities provided by Polaroid, you couldn't have hoped for a better night! I mean, a store that celebrates the selfie is my kind of store!

Make sure you step by 264 Oxford Street and experience what Warehouse has to offer.
