Beach in the City

oversized scarf, suede coat, long gloves

Do you know those days when you can clearly feel that spring is not far away? When you notice that your nose and hands aren't freezing anymore and you are excited to go for a walk? That's how I felt on the day I discovered this little beach just ten minutes walk from my house. It suddenly felt like I am not in London anymore and I made a promise to come here more often.

The moment I stepped outside I realised that I might have dressed too warmly, though it did come in handy later while sitting on the beach. I've had this oversized scarf for years and it always makes me feel cosy and gives a very nice final touch to almost any outfit. And I also finally gave a go to the longer sleeved gloves which are quite an unfamiliar territory for me. All in all, this was just the outfit I needed to enjoy this sunny beautiful day.

Hope you guys are feeling the first hints of spring too xx

I Woke Up Like This

Hi guys! Happy Monday! Hope you are having a nice sunny day and taking it easy on the first day of the week!

Here's a quick and colourful post shot during this weekend in London. I wanted to find a fun location and knew without any doubt that the cool and hipster Shoreditch and Bricklane areas would not disappoint. While walking around, I was inspired by everything from people with an immaculate sense of style and layering skills, to the colourful art on the walls. Add in the nice sunny weather and what could be better?

While in Bricklane I always want to look a bit more grunge, a bit more cool and so boyfriend jeans, biker boots and some layering on top were an easy choice for the day. I love those outfits that make you feel comfortable, that don't require well styled hair and anything in between the lines of Beyonce's 'I woke up like this' work the best.

Also, I am excited to announce that I teamed up with Cosmopolitan Russia during London Fashion Week to report on the street style! Check out the gallery of the images I shot for them here and don't forget to sometimes stop by my PRESS page for the latest updates. xo

London Fashion Week, February 18th

And so London Fashion Week is over and all the action has moved to Milan. Nevertheless the last day is always intense, busy and crowded, shows are still happening, street style is still being photographed. It's almost impossible to imagine that only the next morning Somerset House will transform itself into its usual self, the BFC tent will be gone and not a single photographer will be hunting anyone down anymore.

As for my last outfit, I chose to wear this punky cool CeMe London dress paired with a faux fur vest and comfy biker boots. I'm probably going to repeat myself but I love dresses that can be worn many different ways and transform depending on the accessories. For example, change biker boots to heels and this dress will bring you from day to evening. Wear it with a tailored blazer and it's perfect for a day in the office.

We got so lucky with the weather yesterday that for once I was actually super warm outside and it felt like the sun is becoming more and more powerful. I got a chance to catch up with my emails and social media right then and there. By the way how cool is this Helmer iPad sleeve? They have such a great selection of accessories of every colour to match any outfit!

So, bye bye London Fashion Week! This time it hasn't been too easy (being ill all the way through) but it's still been so much fun! Hope you guys have enjoyed my LFW diary xx

London Fashion Week, February 17th

One more day of London Fashion Week and one more look. This time I have embraced the candy colour trend that's been going on for a while now. And what girl could resist mixing baby blue and baby pink? Especially when its fashion week and all experiments are more than welcome.

I love the pink collar detail on this Traffic People dress and how the rest of it is so gently neutral. Its colour serves as a great canvas allowing pastels to complement each other rather than clash. And how pretty is this shade of blue? One look at it and you feel all warm, cozy and cute.

We've been lucky with some dryer weather these past couple of days and fingers crossed that last day of London Fashion Week won't disappoint us either. There are more shows to attend and more beautiful clothes to wear. So, as usual, come back tomorrow for one more dose of fashion xo
