Dress Up

Happy Monday everyone! Hope your weekend was great and you are ready to shine through another work week! Mine is looking to be crazy busy with lots of meetings and running around so before it all kicks off I wanted to share this outfit with you.

If I think about my current wardrobe I can say that I am mostly jeans and trousers kind of girl with not too many dresses and skirts to show off. But, once in a while, I get a hold of something very comfortable and what feels like, very me, and my habits change. That's what happened when I tried this dress on! It made me feel girlie, yet, with the right styling, still tough (I'd like to think so). It will also work well when it gets colder outside and bare legs won't be an option anymore.

Since starting this blog I have opened up my mind to all sorts of fashion experiments and it feels great to be changing! Challenging myself is something I enjoy now more than ever and I hope it never stops!

Have a great week x

Black and White

A super quick post to show you my current go-to outfit when I want to feel very comfortable yet still cool. I have picked up this sweater and coated jeans at GAP last week and couldn't be happier with my choice! I have looked for the affordable, yet very good looking wet-effect jeans for quite some time now and had no idea that they were hiding at GAP.

I am also glad to welcome pointy flats back! Last time I owned a pair was during my school years. Then the fashion changed to the round toe styles and after a decade or so, here we are again!

Hope everyone's week is going great! x

Boot Camp

If you, like me, are planning to purchase a pair of new boots this season, then you must know that it's not as easy to make up your mind as it may seem. The choice is big and sometimes that throws me off balance. Sure, I have a vision of the perfect boot in my head (thanks Saint Laurent), but when it comes to reality, I'm lost. I must admit that usually I face the opposite problem when nothing seems to be good enough, but this time it's the issue of narrowing the choices down to just one.

So, here is my wishlist/moodboard with those pairs that inspire me (yes, talking about Saint Laurent again) and those that I can actually afford.

Have you found your perfect pair yet? x

Park Life

London is always a perfect backdrop for pictures and the only difficulty is actually making up your mind and choosing one out of so many options. This time I wanted to catch the beautiful colours of  nature before the leaves start to fall and green starts to fade. Regent's Park is known to be one of the most colourful London's parks and it didn't disappoint even in the end of September.

You might have recognised the print of this skirt from one of my previous posts. Both pieces come from the Strange Love collection by Finders Keepers. It's such a fun and versatile brand so make sure you keep an eye on it! Both pieces that I am wearing in this post have such an unlimited styling potential. The turtleneck can work perfectly with any type of trousers, jeans or skirts and the skirt can be paired with a bomber or biker jacket, blazers and t-shirts. The way I have paired them is an unusual choice for me, but I love trying new things and get very excited when my experiments actually work!

I wish you all happy Monday and come back for more updates very soon xx

Leather Weather

Leather clothes and leather detailing have been under the fashion spotlight for several seasons now and according to the SS14 Fashion Week it ain't going nowhere. I have never sported too many leather clothes but when it comes to the details I'm all in. I am in to the point that I found myself wearing leather sleeves on top of leather sleeves which sounds slightly too much, but works perfectly well with this particular outfit.

As I already warned you in the previous post, I have developed a crush for dresses of this simple but perfect cut. This particular little black dress is a must for any season and occasion. You can wear it casually like I did, or you can put on heels and turn it into an evening outfit. And it will work perfectly well with black tights when the weather changes. The leather sleeves of the dress adds coolness and fun to it, which is exactly what I am always looking for in the LBD.

And when it comes to this denim jacket it was love at first sight! I can see myself wearing it with almost any clothes that I own and if there is one wardrobe must I would recommend, this jacket would be it. There is something about its colour, style and shape that make me feel so good about myself when I am wearing it.

What is your favourite item of clothing for the season? Let me know x
