Wonder

It's Friday and as usual I'm very excited about the weekend. I'm also excited to leave this past week behind as there were too many visits to the doctor to find the reason for my sudden weakness. Hopefully it's over now, and I do feel much much better.

Yesterday was a a very nice day, part of which we spent in this amazing location. I had no idea this place exists (and so close to my house too). It's called One New Change and is located right in front of St.Paul's (Bank station). It's a new development full of shops, restaurants and a roof terrace with this spectacular view. I felt like I was a tourist exploring new places. I can definitely recommend you  visit it if you get the chance. On a sunny day you can sit in the Maddison restaurant right on the terrace and enjoy the beauty that is London.

As for this outfit, this is my favourite Acne dress and every time I find a reason to wear it I feel very elegant and dressed up. It also reminds me of my New York trip as I wore it to a night out in the Meatpacking District and to have some pictures done near Carrie Bradshaw's apartment. Yesterday I decided to wear this dress with a similar coloured blazer and it happened to complement the architecture around me. It was also a first time I took my Sandro 'Wonder' box bag out for a walk. It's the most perfect statement accessory to have and me and 'Wonder' are bound to have  a lot of fun ahead of us.

Tomorrow is a BIG day for me to say the least. You'll be one of the first to know what's happening if you keep an eye on my Instagram.

Have a great Friday! xo

Parking It

Hi everyone! I hope you've been better than I was these past few days. I've been feeling unwell since the last weekend but am on the speedy road to recovery now. I'm pretty sure that all the stress I've been through and some other factors caused my extreme weakness, so I've adopted a very healthy eating and exercising regime for this condition to never repeat again. There is lots of pomegranate and beetroot juice in my life these days to say the least.

So on a happier note, here is a post we shot one weekend ago before the endless rain came to London. This is a very low key outfit that I put together for a picnic in the park. Light, soft fabrics, oversized cuts and no make-up are the ingredients of a comfy afternoon. Add to that lots of tasty food, some refreshing drinks and the latest magazines and what more can you want from a chilled Sunday?

As I'm getting better now I'll start shooting lots again. There are so many things I want to show you. And after this upcoming Saturday you will also see the NEW me. So keep an eye on my Instagram (@juliashutenko).

Have a great Wednesday ya'll! xo

Pink In The City

Happy Friday and happy long weekend! Monday is a bank holiday and that's happy news!

I wanted to show you this outfit that we've shot last weekend and also to admire this cool pink location. I found it near Southbank Centre, London and it is actually just a row of super unusual benches. The moment we finished shooting a group of kids took over and climbed these pink and green hills. Location scouting is a new routine for me that came side by side with blogging. I love it because you find the most unusual places and become much more aware of the surroundings.

As for the dress I'm wearing, it's my old but good hot weather rescuer. It's light and soft and goes so well with a summer tan. My new beach bag will be my closest holiday friend. I love the print and how much I can fit in it.

Hope all of you have a nice weekend planned. Speak soon x

One Piece

Let me share my love of jumpsuits with you guys! If you ever had one then you know what I'm talking about. Every time I decide to wear this boiler suit my morning routine becomes quicker and easier than ever. I love how easy it is to style and wear it without any worries about whether the top matches the bottom. If I ever become a fashion designer I'll make sure to have a line of jumpsuits that look like perfectly completed looks. That way people won't need to stress in front of their closets trying to find a perfect top to fit the trousers anymore. One piece outfits will be a perfect answer. Dreams, dreams, dreams... But until I design that line, I'm gonna continue enjoying this one jumpsuit I do have.

Hope you all are having a nice day. I'm going to preview some next season collections tomorrow, so stay with me on Instagram for the updates.

Life in Colour

Hi guys! So sorry for not posting lately, I've been going through some very sad family things and am very grateful for your kind words of support.

I came back to London two days ago and immediately I was busy sorting out all the things that were put on hold while I was away. And now that I'm back I'm going to show you so much cool stuff, nice outfits and inspirational places that you'll have to forgive me for my couple of weeks of silence.

Let me start my sharing some great housekeeping news. I am now represented by Socialyte agency who will be handling all my projects and collaborations. So I'm very excited for what is yet to come as it surely feels like a beginning of a new era. Also I want you to know that very soon you can expect HUGE changes coming up. It will include my blog and myself. I'll be giving some hints step by step, so make sure you follow me on Instagram (@juliashutenko) to stay updated.

So moving on to this post I just wanted to pay tribute to this amazingly beautiful neighbourhood in the heart of London. For those of you who know London we shot this in Knightsbridge. I stumbled upon these cute colourful streets a while ago and made a mental note to return there on a sunny day and share this experience with you guys. The weather is very summery these days and I couldn't ask for more than this beautiful view and some sunshine. It's amazing how just one little street made me forget where was and teleported me to the narrow colourful streets somewhere in Italy. I truly felt like I was on holiday!

Hope all of you are enjoying your weekend and I truly missed talking to you guys! So glad to be back xx
