Fashion Journey. April 9th.

To say that yesterday was busy would be to say nothing. Therefore this post is going to be super long just like the amount of events I attended. They were all so beautiful and cool that I absolutely had to share them all with you. Busy Days

Hi guys! I'm up early today because there is a very long and busy day ahead. Today and tomorrow I'm gonna continue my fashion journey through AW14 collections. So stay tuned for daily updates here and follow me on Instagram (@juliashutenko) to see everything as it happens.

This outfit is an example of a comfortable spring look that works perfectly for the day of running around the city and meeting new people. I don't own too many skirts (though it's my goal to wear them more often) so everytime I do wear one I feel like I am dressed up more than usual. I also can't wait to ditch stockings and walk bare legged. Weather for it is almost here so I guess it's time to unpack my lighter clothes.

About The Hat

Sometimes I wear a hat. It happens probably once a year though the attempts are countless. I have a proper love/hate relationship with this item. Thing is I love how it looks on other people, I also like how it looks on me until I actually need to leave the house. Then, no matter how ready I was, I take it off and immediately think that the whole outfit works better without the hat. Or there is another scenario. I actually go outside and surprise, surprise it's heavy winds and I end up caring the hat in my hands for the rest of the day. So, once a year when I do manage to make it work I feel super proud and give myself a promise to be more of a hat person. And then you know how it goes...

So this is one of those times when I like what the hat does to an entire look. Everything complements each other by being different shades of neutral colours. And the only drastic pop is a clutch. So there you go. Me in a hat. So until next time then. xx
