Life in Colour

Hi guys! So sorry for not posting lately, I've been going through some very sad family things and am very grateful for your kind words of support.

I came back to London two days ago and immediately I was busy sorting out all the things that were put on hold while I was away. And now that I'm back I'm going to show you so much cool stuff, nice outfits and inspirational places that you'll have to forgive me for my couple of weeks of silence.

Let me start my sharing some great housekeeping news. I am now represented by Socialyte agency who will be handling all my projects and collaborations. So I'm very excited for what is yet to come as it surely feels like a beginning of a new era. Also I want you to know that very soon you can expect HUGE changes coming up. It will include my blog and myself. I'll be giving some hints step by step, so make sure you follow me on Instagram (@juliashutenko) to stay updated.

So moving on to this post I just wanted to pay tribute to this amazingly beautiful neighbourhood in the heart of London. For those of you who know London we shot this in Knightsbridge. I stumbled upon these cute colourful streets a while ago and made a mental note to return there on a sunny day and share this experience with you guys. The weather is very summery these days and I couldn't ask for more than this beautiful view and some sunshine. It's amazing how just one little street made me forget where was and teleported me to the narrow colourful streets somewhere in Italy. I truly felt like I was on holiday!

Hope all of you are enjoying your weekend and I truly missed talking to you guys! So glad to be back xx

Columbia Road Flower Market

Hello pretty people! I am sorry for going AWOL but there's been so much going on recently in my life. First of all, as you know from my previous post and social media I got married! And today is  our one week anniversary which Patrik and I celebrated with two mean pizzas. My wedding day was the happiest day of my life, it went perfect and I am still high on emotions. But bare with me and I will reveal everything about it in the near future. As soon as we have all the images from the day, I am gonna make several posts walking you through all the details.

This post was shot last Sunday, so I'm a married girl here. It's so so strange to think of myself as a wife:) This post is all about the beauty of the true London gem that is Columbia Road flower market. I can't believe I've never been here before! It's my new favourite destination and I hope to visit it every Sunday to pick up fresh flowers for my home. I kept melting in front of the amazingness of all the peonies, rare kinds of tulips and cute baby cacti.

On another note, I thought I should let you know that I am currently back home at my parents visiting my Grandma as she's been unwell and is currently in hospital. That is the main reason why I've been absent lately and I'm planning to stay with her until she's better. So sorry if my blogging won't be as frequent as it normally is. I promise I will make it up to you once I'm back and even more so when my wedding pictures are revealed.

Enjoy this pretty post and speak soon x

Day Out and Exciting News

Happy Easter weekend everyone!

This is a quick post to show you my go-to outfit for the days out in the sun with an occasional meeting or two. Since I got this Elizabeth & James blazer I've been wearing it ridiculously often. There are several reasons for this: a) its colour works with pretty much everything and looks very spring appropriate b) it's warm enough to keep me comfortable when sun is hiding c) it makes even the most casual outfit look smarter which is perfect for a work day. All in all, I love it!

Before I leave you to celebrate Easter with your friends and family, I just wanted to share that tomorrow is my BACHELORETTE party and I'm so so so excited! I don't know what it's going to be or where, I just know that all my closest girlfriends will be there to make tomorrow very special! I can't believe I'm the bride! And it's also my first ever bachelorette party! I've never been to one before (honestly don't know how this happened). So now you get an idea of how important this Easter weekend is for me! Fingers crossed for some good weather.

Bye bye lovely people and have the best time!

Julia xo
