How To Layer

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday! It's very dark and rainy here today, so if I could spend all day in my pyjamas I wouldn't mind. I am always up for being lazy before the new week starts. 

So let me talk about this outfit. I am trying to experiment and try new things a bit more these days. And one of my goals is to master the art of layering. It looks so effortlessly chic and screams 'model off duty' when it's done right. So here I am wearing a vintage dress on top of trousers, topping it up with  a simple tee and my favourite coat. I am always happy to find a new way to wear the clothes that I've had for a while.

Animal Print

Let me start by saying that I am not big on animal prints. But I've been trying to be more opened to it lately with an occasional bag or a scarf. And I do like it on other cool people, pictures of which I pin onto my inspirational mood boards. In this post I've gone way wild and had animal print in both the scarf and the earrings. Ok, it's not that wild at all and I think it works.

We had a beautiful day yesterday with sun and blue skies. I'm glad that it's quite warm too and I can experiment with t-shirts, blazers and sunglasses. I am still expecting it to become a proper winter at some point, because so far it seems too good to be true. 

I am also starting the search for the perfect wedding dress, so please email me if you have any good shops and places in London that I need to know about. Any help would be appreciated as I am the least girly girl in this department. I do have a wedding mood board too though (haha, it seems there are lots of mood boards going on).

We're in New York!

This is going to be the most personal post up to date. I've been going through my archives and found this video me and Patrik had shot while on our trip to New York two years ago. New York has always been my dream city and Patrik gave this trip to me for our first anniversary together. I loved it so much there that after we came back I went straight back into dreaming about visiting it again. 

I hope you enjoy a very silly me acting a bit hyper due to the fact that I was overexcited about the whole thing the entire time.

Hi everyone! You know how there are sales everywhere now, right? Well I looked through pretty much all of them and selected the most jaw dropping finds. All of them are under £200 and you know what? There's even something from Saint Laurent there! You are welcome and enjoy shopping!

Spin

One of the best things about blogging is being able to share all the exciting things I see and people I meet. And this post is a great example of that.

I would like you to meet my friend, the very talented jewellery designer Ana Thompson. Below is her beautiful collection of unisex cufflinks called Spin. How about that ladies? This season when one of the biggest trends is playing with masculinity/femininity a pair of cufflinks is a must! After this shoot I realised that I never want to wear a shirt with simple buttons on the sleeves ever again. 

Ana Thompson is a Colombian designer based in London, with a background in Industrial Design and an MA in Jewellery Design. Her Spin collection reflects the energy of a constant movement, inspired by the precise balance and motion of spinning tops, one of the oldest recognisable toys. Happy Friday to you all! Hope you have a chilled and pleasant weekend planned! I am looking forward to cooking and eating some nice food (starting tonight) and having some important blog work done. It's time to start planning London Fashion Week schedules and sorting out tickets. Even though it always ends up being the busiest time of the year, there is nothing that excites me more than an opportunity to see next seasons collections. I even bought a very nice 2014 planner today (you can check it out on my Instagram) to be as organised as possible. I hope all those colourful stickers that came with it won't distract me too much, haha.

Now about to this outfit. As you can see, it's quite windy in London but the temperature is still surprisingly high for this time of year. So on days like this I am glad to be able to shoot without my coat and warm UGGs. I've ben wearing these WILDFOX boyfriend jeans a lot lately. Their cut is so versatile and depending on what shoes you wear they are perfect for any type of mood and style. Oh, and the colour of my scarf is probably my favourite shade of blue ever!
